Meet our Personal Trainers

Emily is a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) and a canfitpro Fitness Instructor Specialist. She discovered her passion for fitness as a high school cheerleader and has been helping clients reach their goals ever since earning her certification in 2008. With 18 years of personal training experience, Emily specializes in creating welcoming, supportive environments where clients feel confident and motivated in the gym. A former competitive dancer and dance instructor for over ten years, Emily brings creativity and energy to every group fitness class she leads, designing engaging routines that keep participants moving and inspired. Outside of the gym, she enjoys competing in 8-ball and 9-ball pool leagues and cherishes her role as a devoted mom to two daughters. In 2020, she proudly became a surrogate, welcoming her honorary nephew into the world and earning the affectionate title “Auntie Em.” Emily’s approach combines expertise, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to helping people feel their best, both inside and outside the gym.

Ryan Patterson is a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is passionate about helping people transform their lives through fitness, strength, and sustainable wellness. After 20 years in the corporate world, Ryan pursued his true calling — empowering others to build confidence, resilience, and long-term results through movement. Having experienced his own personal transformation, he understands the challenges of starting and the discipline required to create lasting change. Ryan specializes in strength development, lifestyle transformation, and youth athlete performance. He is especially passionate about developing young athletes, helping them build speed, strength, confidence, and work ethic both in sport and in life. Outside the gym, Ryan is a dedicated high school football coach for the Maple Ridge Ravens Junior Team, proud husband, father to his son, and dog dad to his Pomeranian, Thanos. His mission is simple: help you become stronger, healthier, and more capable — inside and outside the gym.
